Natural Wood Rectangular Dining Set with Mixed Chairs

This Scandinavian-style 4-seater dining set for SketchUp features a light wood rectangular table paired with a mix of cane and slatted chairs. The set comprises a minimalist rectangular dining table crafted from light-toned natural wood with tapered legs and rounded corners. It is accompanied by four distinct chairs: two feature cantilevered tubular steel frames with woven rattan backrests, while the remaining two showcase a sleek wooden construction with vertically slatted curved backrests. The ensemble presents a balanced aesthetic, combining the warmth of natural timber textures with the industrial touch of metal frames. Decorative elements included in the scene consist of a simple glass vase with greenery and a small bowl of fruit, enhancing the composition.

The download is a 97.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this set is organised into components to facilitate easy manipulation. Users can quickly swap individual chairs or resize the table to suit specific floor plans. Apply custom materials to the timber surfaces or adjust the metal finish on the cantilever frames to match project specifications. Ensure the model is placed at the correct floor level using the base of the table legs as a reference point, and utilise tags to toggle between the furniture set and decorative accessories.

This versatile dining arrangement is suitable for contemporary residential dining rooms, open-plan kitchen-diners, or boutique cafe interiors. Its light and airy aesthetic makes it an ideal choice for projects pursuing a Scandinavian or Japandi design language. Designers often search for these pieces when styling apartments or light-filled hospitality spaces that require a mix of textures. The set pairs effectively with minimalist pendant lighting and neutral colour palettes, providing a functional yet visually engaging focal point for interior renders and architectural visualisations.
