About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max bistro set features two woven rattan chairs and a matching side table with grey upholstered cushions. This three-piece bistro set comprises two armchairs and a small circular side table, unified by a light natural-wood finish. The chairs feature a distinct woven rattan backrest that wraps into the armrests, supported by slim, tapering wooden legs. Each chair includes a low-profile, grey fabric seat cushion for added comfort. The circular side table mirrors the material language of the chairs, utilizing curved rattan structural elements and black binding details at the junctions. The proportions are compact, making this set suitable for smaller balconies, intimate breakfast nooks, or light-filled conservatory spaces.

The download is a 37.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this set into a 3ds Max scene, import the model as a group or individual assets to maintain flexibility for layout adjustments. The materials are mapped for standard renderers; ensure the texture paths are linked correctly if using custom shaders. Use the pivot points at the base of the legs for precise placement on floor planes. For optimal realism, consider applying a subtle bump map to the rattan weave to enhance the depth and tactile quality of the material in close-up shots.

Ideal for residential balconies, sunrooms, and boutique hotel terraces, this set serves as a versatile seating solution for relaxed environments. It complements light, airy interior palettes, pairing well with neutral tones or soft greenery. Professionals searching for bistro-style furniture, patio seating, or woven accent pieces will find this set efficient for populating exterior render scenes or cozy corner vignettes. It is particularly effective in projects requiring a blend of natural textures and modern, clean-lined design for both indoor and outdoor living areas.
