About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a natural wood live-edge executive work desk paired with a matching leather office chair. This executive workspace set comprises a large desk and a high-backed office chair. The desk showcases a prominent live-edge timber desktop, preserving the organic profile of the wood grain. It is supported by a solid slab-style wooden leg on one side and an angular, brushed metallic base on the other, creating a striking material contrast. The accompanying office chair features a tall, vertically-tufted backrest upholstered in dark grey leather, mounted on a sleek, multi-spoke metal base. The combination of raw, natural timber textures and refined metal accents defines the set's contemporary aesthetic.

The download is a 7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical layers for easy selection of the desk and chair components. Users can adjust the wood grain orientation or swap the metal finish on the base via the material editor. The geometry is clean, allowing for straightforward scaling to fit specific floor plans. For optimal results, apply custom lighting setups to accentuate the natural variations in the timber surface and the subtle sheen of the leather upholstery.

Ideal for high-end residential studies, executive suites, and modern professional home offices, this desk set functions as a strong focal point. It pairs effectively with minimalist shelving units or contemporary floor lamps to complete a sophisticated work environment. Architects and interior designers often search for live-edge furniture to add warmth and character to corporate interiors. This asset is suitable for high-quality architectural visualisation projects where a balance of organic material and industrial design is required to communicate a premium, tailored workspace aesthetic.
