About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a detailed Monkey King sculpture in a seated pose, finished in white and gold with a stone-textured base. Representing the mythological Sun Wukong, this decorative sculpture depicts a figure in a traditional seated meditation position. The character is rendered with intricate armour detailing, finished in a high-contrast palette of matte white and polished gold. A stylized, flowing gold element extends from the figure's lap down to a rectangular, weathered brown stone-textured pedestal. The base is further detailed with relief-style cloud motifs in white. The proportions are balanced for use as a focal point or accent piece in high-end interior compositions, requiring careful placement to highlight the complex geometry of the armour.

The download is a 33.4 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Within 3ds Max, this model is organised with logical grouping, allowing for easy placement into a scene as a single asset. Users should ensure the object is scaled appropriately to the project units before snapping to surfaces. The material stack is designed for standard rendering workflows, enabling quick adjustments to the metallic reflections or stone diffuse textures. It is recommended to use an HDRI environment map to best capture the interplay between the gold highlights and the matte surfaces of the figure.
