About this asset

This modern lounge chair set for SketchUp features two timber-framed chairs with white fabric cushions and a matching wire side table. The lounge chairs exhibit a distinct modern aesthetic defined by angular timber frames and clean, straightforward lines. Each chair includes a plush seat cushion and a matching backrest, both upholstered in a neutral white fabric that contrasts with the warm, natural-wood finish of the frame. The set is accompanied by a compact, drum-shaped side table featuring a delicate black metal wire base and a solid circular top. This ensemble provides a balanced seating arrangement, with proportions suitable for intimate lounge areas or reading corners where comfort and minimalist design are required.

The download is a 5.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these components are organized into nested groups for easy manipulation. Users can apply custom materials to the fabric and timber surfaces using the native paint bucket tool, or replace textures to match specific interior schemes. The geometry is clean, allowing for efficient placement within larger room models. When importing into a project, ensure the pivot points are set at the base of the legs to facilitate quick positioning on floor planes or rugs without needing additional vertical adjustments.

This set is well-suited for residential living rooms, hotel lobbies, and quiet reading nooks in boutique offices. It pairs effectively with natural textures like wool rugs, linen curtains, and indoor plants to create a relaxed, contemporary atmosphere. Designers often search for this type of casual lounge furniture when specifying high-quality, mid-century-inspired interiors or staging apartments for visualisations. Its neutral palette makes it a versatile addition to various design styles, from Scandinavian-influenced spaces to warm, minimalist interiors requiring functional accent seating.
