Modern Rectangular Fabric Rug Set of Four

This modern rectangular fabric rug set for SketchUp contains four distinct floor coverings featuring varied neutral textures and finishes. This set includes four rectangular area rugs, each presenting a unique surface treatment. Two pieces feature clean, light-toned surfaces, while the other two display distressed, mottled textures in beige and charcoal grey. The rugs are presented as flat, thin-profile elements suitable for floor placement. Their clean geometric forms and subtle surface patterns provide a versatile foundation for various interior styles. The variety in colour and texture allows for flexible application, ranging from minimalist white aesthetics to more layered, tactile compositions that add depth and warmth to a floor plane without overwhelming the surrounding furniture.

The download is a 23.6 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these rug models are best utilised as flat components placed directly onto floor geometry. Given their thin profile, ensure they are positioned slightly above the floor surface to prevent z-fighting during rendering. Users can easily scale these components to fit specific room dimensions or swap them within a project to test different colour palettes. Applying high-resolution material textures to the top face will enhance the visual quality, especially when using external rendering plugins to capture the depth of the fabric.
