Contemporary White Marble and Gold Fluted Reception Desk

This contemporary reception desk, modelled for SketchUp, features a sweeping marble countertop contrasted against a gold fluted base. The reception desk presents a striking juxtaposition between organic, fluid forms and structured, vertical elements. A solid white marble countertop curves dramatically along the front fascia, creating a sculptural, wave-like silhouette that terminates in sharp, tapered ends. Beneath this heavy stone mass, a contrasting fluted base finished in a metallic gold provides support and visual texture. The composition is balanced and minimalist, focusing on high-contrast material finishes. This piece is designed as a standalone statement, suitable for high-end corporate lobbies, boutique hotel foyers, or luxury retail environments where a refined first impression is essential.

The download is a 5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, the geometry is structured with clean, grouped components, allowing for easy placement and orientation within a lobby scene. The materials are applied to distinct surfaces, facilitating quick adjustments to the marble veining or metal reflectivity. Users can easily integrate this into larger BIM models or interior renders by positioning it centrally within a workspace. The model is lightweight, ensuring smooth performance when navigating complex architectural scenes, and it can be scaled to fit specific room dimensions without compromising the integrity of its curvilinear form.
