About this asset

This modern 3ds Max TV unit features a natural wood frame with contrasting white cabinet doors and open shelving for media. This media console showcases a clean-lined, modern aesthetic defined by its balanced asymmetry. The rectangular carcass is finished in a warm, natural wood veneer, providing a tactile contrast to the smooth, matte white cabinet doors on the right side. To the left, three open, fixed-height shelves offer display space for media components or decor. The entire assembly is elevated on four slender, tapered legs that lend a light, mid-century inspired profile to the structure. The design integrates closed and open storage, making it a versatile piece for contemporary living spaces.

The download is a 28 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, ensure the unit is placed on the floor plane using snapping tools for precision. The model is organised into logical layers, allowing for easy selection of the cabinet body and the included decorative accessories. Users can easily map custom wood grain textures or adjust the white finish to match specific interior palettes. For optimal performance, check the pivot point at the base to facilitate simple placement against wall surfaces or within custom joinery assemblies.

Ideal for residential living rooms, this TV unit complements minimalist or Scandinavian-inspired interiors. It functions effectively as a focal point in a media setup, providing a structured surface for television placement and storage for books, decorative objects, or audio equipment. Professionals frequently specify this type of versatile console for apartment living or open-plan homes where both functionality and aesthetic simplicity are required. It pairs well with neutral colour schemes, textured rugs, and low-profile seating arrangements in various contemporary design projects.
