Modern Kids Room Storage and Bookshelf Scene

This modern kids room storage scene in SketchUp features a wall-mounted bookshelf and floor-standing cabinet with playful geometric forms. This composition features two distinct storage units designed for children's spaces. The upper portion consists of a wall-mounted bookshelf with an organic, asymmetric frame, incorporating a circular reading nook and multiple square compartments for books and decor. Below, the floor-standing storage unit pairs open shelving with enclosed arched cabinets. The construction utilises a clean, matte finish in contrasting shades of muted grey and warm beige. The design prioritises accessibility, with varied shelf heights suitable for toys, books, and educational materials, creating a functional yet visually engaging focal point for a bedroom or play area.

The download is a 172 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this file is organised into logical groups for easy manipulation. Users can scale the individual units to fit specific wall lengths or toggle visibility of the included decorative accessories to reduce model weight. Materials are applied as standard textures, allowing for quick colour adjustments via the material editor to match a specific interior palette. For high-quality renders, ensure the model is correctly positioned against a wall surface and check that all geometry is oriented with faces pointing outwards.
