Modern Kids Room Furniture Scene with Storage

This modern kids room furniture scene, modelled in SketchUp, features a modular storage bench, wall shelving, and decorative soft toys. This comprehensive furniture arrangement comprises a low-profile storage bench with a pink upholstered seat, paired with a matching vertical multi-tier shelving unit. The construction primarily utilises a dark-toned wood finish, providing a grounded aesthetic against the whimsical accents. Included in this scene are two horizontal wall-mounted shelves, a decorative wall clock, and an assortment of plush character cushions and soft toys. The design focuses on functional storage for toys and books, balancing open cubby spaces with accessible shelving, making it a versatile solution for organising small items within a child's bedroom or play area.

The download is a 16.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

As a consolidated SketchUp component, this model allows for efficient placement within a larger interior project. Users can explode the group to rearrange individual elements or modify the wood textures to match specific room palettes. The components are organised with clear geometry, facilitating easy scaling or integration into custom joinery designs. Best practice involves placing this set on a dedicated layer to manage visibility during the design development phase, ensuring the model remains lightweight while providing sufficient detail for interior renders and client presentations.
