Modern Home Office Desk and Shelving Set

This collection of modern home office desks and integrated shelving units is provided as a SketchUp model for interior design layouts. This set comprises four distinct modular workspace configurations, each integrating a desk surface with vertical storage or shelving elements. The designs range from light-toned timber finishes with glass-fronted cabinets to darker walnut-toned wood units featuring open-grid shelving and metal leg accents. Each configuration includes integrated desktop space, overhead storage, and varied cabinet door styles. These models are designed for functional home office layouts, offering a mix of enclosed cabinetry for concealed storage and open shelving for books and decorative accessories, providing a versatile solution for compact study areas or dedicated home workspaces.

The download is a 24.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

These SketchUp components are organised into logical groups, allowing for easy placement and modification within a model. Users can adjust the scale or swap material textures to suit specific project palettes. Best practice involves placing these units on a dedicated layer within the architectural model to manage visibility effectively. When rendering, these assets can be enhanced by applying realistic material properties to the wood and glass surfaces, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with the scene's lighting and camera setup.
