Modern Grey Fabric Plywood Lounge Chair Scene

This modern lounge chair scene for SketchUp features a moulded plywood frame with grey fabric upholstery and a pair of matching side tables. The lounge chair exhibits a distinct mid-century aesthetic, defined by its curved, moulded plywood shell which provides a continuous form for both seat and backrest. The light-toned timber grain contrasts with the soft grey fabric cushions integrated into the seating surface. Accompanying the primary piece are two circular side tables, each featuring thin-profile metal legs and stone-effect tabletops. This grouping provides a cohesive visual arrangement, with the proportions of the tables complementing the low-slung, reclined posture of the chair, creating a balanced and functional seating vignette suitable for various interior compositions.

The download is a 27.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

When integrating this model into a SketchUp workspace, users should check the component hierarchy to ensure materials are correctly assigned to nested groups. The model is scaled for standard architectural interior environments; verify the insertion point upon import. Applying custom textures or adjusting the existing material properties within the native editor allows for seamless integration with project-specific lighting setups. Maintaining clean layers for the chair and tables separately will improve performance and simplify adjustments when populating larger interior scenes or floor plans.
