About this asset

This modern floor-length curtain set in SketchUp features a double-layered design with neutral grey fabric for interior windows. This window treatment comprises a dual-layer curtain system designed for full-height coverage. The outer layer consists of a heavier, opaque grey fabric with a subtle texture, while the inner layer is a lighter, semi-sheer material that allows diffused light to pass through. The curtains are modelled with natural, vertical folds that suggest a weighted hem, providing a realistic drape effect. The set is presented as a clean, minimalist solution suitable for contemporary interior schemes where soft window dressings are required to add texture and privacy to a room's perimeter.

The download is a 54.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this asset into a SketchUp model, use the component's insertion point to align it with the window head or track. Users should verify the scale against the project's floor-to-ceiling height and adjust the length using the scale tool if necessary. The materials are applied via the native tray, allowing for adjustments to transparency or colour tinting. It is recommended to place these on a dedicated 'Curtains' or 'Soft Furnishings' layer to manage scene complexity and facilitate toggling during the final rendering process.

Ideal for residential projects, this curtain set works well in living rooms, bedrooms, or dining spaces where a clean, modern aesthetic is desired. It pairs effectively with minimalist interiors, neutral palettes, and floor-to-ceiling glazing. Professionals searching for 'window treatments,' 'drapes,' or 'soft furnishings' will find this model useful for adding realism to interior visualisations. It is suitable for both conceptual design stages and final presentation renderings, providing a soft, finished look to any window opening or sliding glass door assembly.
