About this asset

This modern wall-mounted desk set, modelled in SketchUp, features a floating timber desk, matching wall shelving, and a chair. This workspace composition includes a minimalist floating desk finished in a warm brown wood veneer, featuring a central open recess flanked by two drawers. A coordinating wall-mounted shelving unit with vertical dividers provides open storage for books and decorative objects. The accompanying chair features a curved, two-tone upholstered backrest in beige fabric with a brown leather-look outer shell, supported by slender black metal legs with gold-toned ferrules. The set is accessorised with curated decor, including a task lamp, books, and a glass vase with foliage, creating a cohesive and functional home office aesthetic.

The download is a 53.9 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

To integrate this set into a SketchUp model, use the component browser to place the desk at the desired wall height. The geometry is organised into logical groups, allowing for easy material replacement or texture scaling on the timber surfaces. Users can toggle the visibility of the decorative accessories via the layer or tag manager to suit the specific project requirements, ensuring a clean and efficient workflow when rendering interior views or developing detailed construction documentation.

Ideal for compact residential home offices, study nooks, or contemporary bedroom suites, this floating desk set maximises floor space while maintaining a refined, uncluttered look. It pairs well with minimalist interior palettes and can be used in both professional design presentations and high-quality architectural visualisations. Professionals searching for space-saving workstation solutions, floating furniture, or modern study area assets will find this set highly adaptable for various room configurations and design styles requiring a sophisticated, integrated furniture solution.
