This modern armchair SketchUp model features a two-tone plastic shell with a distinctive cutout back and a black swivel base. This contemporary armchair features a contoured, organic shell finished in a high-contrast black and white palette. The seat and backrest are integrated into a single moulded form, punctuated by a central, teardrop-shaped cutout that provides both aesthetic interest and ergonomic ventilation. The seat depth and armrest height are designed for moderate lounge comfort, balancing sleek modern lines with functional support for various interior settings.

The download is a 2.1 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into a clean component structure for easy manipulation and placement. Users can adjust the base rotation independently if the geometry is nested correctly within the component hierarchy. Applying materials is straightforward, as the shell and legs are separated by distinct faces and groups. Ensure the model is scaled appropriately to your scene's unit settings before integration, and utilise the native axes for precise alignment with floor plans or existing furniture layouts.

This armchair is a versatile piece for modern residential dining areas, home offices, or boutique commercial spaces such as cafes and waiting rooms. Its clean, graphic appearance pairs well with minimalist or contemporary decor schemes. Professionals searching for accent seating, swivel chairs, or sculptural furniture will find this asset useful for visualising living rooms or breakout spaces. It serves as an effective focal point in interior design renders where a balance of comfort and bold, geometric design is required.
