About this asset

This modern 3ds Max coffee table set features two round white marble surfaces supported by sleek black metal cross-base frames. This set consists of two circular tables of varying heights and diameters, creating a cohesive nesting aesthetic. The tabletops are finished in a polished white marble with distinct grey veining, providing a clean, luxurious surface. Each table is supported by a slender black metal base, featuring a four-pronged star configuration that provides stability while maintaining a lightweight visual profile. The contrast between the heavy stone tops and the minimal, dark metal structure defines the contemporary design. Included in the set are decorative props such as books and a vase, enhancing the ready-to-use quality of the model.

The download is a 2.8 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these tables are organised into logical object groups to facilitate easy placement and scaling within a scene. The marble material is mapped with high-resolution textures, while the metal base uses a metallic shader for accurate light reflection. Users can adjust the base pivot points to ensure proper alignment on floor planes. Applying a subtle bump map to the marble surface will enhance the realism of the stone texture under close-up camera angles or targeted studio lighting setups.

These versatile tables suit a wide range of interior projects, particularly in living rooms, executive lounges, or high-end hotel lobbies. They pair effectively with contemporary modular sofas or minimalist lounge seating. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of nesting table when looking to add functional, space-saving furniture to a layout. The clean, neutral palette makes them suitable for both residential and commercial reception areas, where they provide a sophisticated focal point without overwhelming the surrounding floor plan or spatial composition.
