Modern Beige Fabric Modular Low-Profile Sofa

This 3ds Max model features a modern beige fabric modular low-profile sofa with a dark timber base, suitable for contemporary interiors. This modular sofa presents a clean, low-profile aesthetic defined by its linear, block-like geometry. The upholstery is a neutral, textured beige fabric that covers the deep seat cushions and the low backrests. A notable design element is the dark-stained timber plinth base, which creates a sharp visual contrast against the light-coloured upholstery and provides a grounded, architectural foundation. The piece is composed of two distinct modular sections, featuring a single asymmetrical armrest on the left side, resulting in a minimalist silhouette that avoids unnecessary ornamentation while maintaining a comfortable, lounge-ready scale for residential or commercial settings.

The download is a 28.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this model into a 3ds Max scene, import the file into your current project and ensure the pivot point is correctly aligned with the floor plane for easy placement. The geometry is organised into logical layers, allowing for efficient management of the cushions and base components. Apply your preferred fabric shaders to the upholstery and a wood material to the plinth. For optimal results in a final render, use a high-quality HDRI environment map to capture the soft light reflections across the fabric texture.
