About this asset

This minimalist SketchUp roller blind set features five translucent fabric shades in varying grey tones, mounted on sleek metal rails. This collection consists of five individual roller blind units, each presented at a different vertical extension to illustrate varying opacity levels. The shades are crafted from a smooth, semi-translucent synthetic fabric that allows for controlled light diffusion, ranging from light grey to deep charcoal. Each unit is housed within a slim, minimalist metal headrail system, complete with a side-operated beaded chain mechanism for adjustment. The bottom of each blind is finished with a weighted hem bar, ensuring the fabric hangs straight and maintains a clean, uniform profile suitable for contemporary interior applications.

The download is a 13.2 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 5 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these blinds are organised as individual components, allowing for easy placement and scaling to match specific window aperture dimensions. Users can adjust the vertical drop by simply moving the bottom hem bar component along the vertical axis. The materials are applied using standard SketchUp texture mapping, which can be modified or swapped to adjust the transparency or colour of the fabric to suit specific lighting requirements within a scene or project file.

These roller blinds are ideal for modern residential, commercial, or office projects where a clean, functional window treatment is required. They pair effectively with floor-to-ceiling glazing or standard window frames, providing a subtle aesthetic that does not distract from the architectural form. Professionals searching for window coverings, light control solutions, or minimalist interior details will find these assets versatile for staging living rooms, bedrooms, and workspace interiors during the design development or final visualisation stages of a project.
