About this asset

This minimalist black kitchen island 3ds Max model features an integrated sink and breakfast bar seating with concealed under-counter lighting. Defined by a sleek, monolithic aesthetic, this kitchen island assembly presents a long, continuous work surface finished in matte black. The structure incorporates an integrated undermount sink with a minimalist faucet and a cantilevered section designed for bar-style seating. Two matching black metal chairs are included, featuring slender frames and cross-braced legs. A subtle, warm-toned LED strip is embedded along the base, illuminating the floor and highlighting the floating effect of the seating area. The clean lines and uniform colour palette create a sophisticated, high-contrast focal point suitable for modern open-plan interiors.

The download is a 9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Professionals can integrate this 3ds Max file by merging it into an existing scene, ensuring the scale is checked against the kitchen floor plan. The lighting setup relies on the included emissive materials for the base strip, which should be adjusted to match the project's global illumination settings. Users may need to re-map the metal textures if customising the finish, or assign local materials to the sink fixtures to align with the overall project's plumbing hardware specifications.

This asset is ideal for high-end residential kitchen designs, luxury apartment developments, or hospitality showroom visualisations. It pairs effectively with handleless cabinetry, stone worktops, and minimalist pendant lighting. Architects and interior designers often search for integrated island units to streamline kitchen layouts and maximise utility in compact spaces. It is particularly useful for rendered fly-throughs where a clean, contemporary look is required to demonstrate the functionality of an open-plan living and dining area in a new-build project.
