About this asset

This minimalist beige plaster wall niche 3ds Max model features integrated wooden shelving and a variety of curated decorative objects. This architectural wall feature consists of a thick, textured beige plaster partition wall with integrated storage elements. The design incorporates a combination of irregularly shaped recessed niches on the left, including an arched opening, and a tall, rectangular vertical section on the right fitted with five horizontal wooden shelves. The piece comes pre-populated with a detailed selection of decorative items, including ceramic vases, small sculptures, books, and a spherical table lamp. The composition balances smooth, monolithic plaster surfaces with the warmth of timber, creating a sophisticated focal point for modern interior schemes.

The download is a 87.3 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset, merge the model into your 3ds Max scene and verify the scale against your floor plans. The wall unit is organised by logical grouping, allowing for easy adjustment of the decorative objects or material overrides on the plaster and wood surfaces. Ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise placement against a wall. If rendering, check the light emission properties of the included lamp to ensure it interacts correctly with your scene's global illumination settings.

This wall niche is ideal for high-end residential projects, particularly in living rooms, hallways, or master bedroom suites where a custom built-in aesthetic is required. It pairs well with wabi-sabi or contemporary interior styles, providing a ready-made focal point for staging. Professionals searching for feature walls, recessed storage solutions, or decorative shelving sets will find this asset useful for visualising complex joinery and architectural detailing in residential developments, boutique hotel lobbies, or luxury showroom interiors during the design development phase.
