About this asset

This 3ds Max model of a metallic bonsai tree in a square planter offers a sculptural, minimalist accent for contemporary interior scenes. This decorative bonsai model features a stylized, metallic-finished trunk and branches with fine, needle-like foliage. The tree is anchored in a sleek, matte black square container. The soil surface is covered with a layer of smooth white pebbles, providing a high-contrast aesthetic that emphasizes the clean lines of the container. The overall composition balances organic, flowing forms with rigid, geometric geometry. The model is scaled to serve as a focal point on surfaces like console tables, sideboards, or minimalist office desks, offering a refined, non-living alternative to traditional botanical decor.

The download is a 21 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When integrating this model into 3ds Max, ensure the object is placed on a flat surface using the snap-to-grid function for precise alignment. The metallic finish on the branches may require adjustment of reflection and glossiness parameters depending on your specific render engine environment. The pebbles are grouped with the container, allowing for easy placement and rotation as a single asset. Use standard light sources or an HDRI map to properly capture the highlights on the metallic surface.
