About this asset

This luxury SketchUp display shelving unit features a slender gold metal frame paired with two timber base cabinets for storage. Designed for high-end interiors, this tall shelving unit combines a minimalist gold-finished metal grid with substantial lower cabinetry. The base consists of two distinct units, each featuring doors with a segmented, directional wood grain pattern that creates a geometric mosaic effect. The upper portion is an open, airy framework of thin metal verticals and horizontals, providing a structured yet transparent display area. Included in the set are various decorative accessories, such as vases, abstract sculptures, and books, which are pre-arranged on the shelves to demonstrate scale and styling potential.

The download is a 280 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is structured as a component, allowing for easy placement and alignment against walls. Users should manage the geometry using tags to toggle the visibility of the decorative items, which helps maintain performance in larger scenes. Materials are applied using standard SketchUp texture mapping, and the gold finish is represented with a reflective material setting. Ensure the unit is correctly anchored to the floor plane and verify that the cabinet doors are grouped separately if animation is required for interior walk-throughs.

This piece is ideal for sophisticated residential living rooms, high-end hotel lobbies, or boutique retail showrooms where display and storage are equally important. It complements contemporary, luxury, or art-deco interior schemes, effectively acting as a focal point for curated decor. Professionals should search for this item when looking for floor-to-ceiling shelving, feature wall storage, or modular display solutions. It pairs well with minimalist wall panelling and metallic accent furniture to create a cohesive, high-specification aesthetic in residential or commercial project stages.
