About this asset

This 3ds Max dining set features a live-edge walnut table paired with six black bentwood-style chairs for a contemporary aesthetic. This dining set comprises a rectangular table with a natural live-edge walnut slab top and two solid black metal trestle-style legs. Accompanying the table are six chairs, each featuring a curved, rounded backrest with vertical splats and a solid seat, reminiscent of classic bentwood design. The contrasting dark wood grain of the tabletop against the matte black finish of the chairs and table frame provides a balanced, sophisticated appearance. Decorative accessories, including two fluted ceramic vases and a small stack of reading material, are included as part of the set arrangement.

The download is a 49.6 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 7 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

The 3ds Max file is organised with logical layer naming to facilitate easy manipulation of the table and individual chairs. Users can quickly merge this set into existing scenes and adjust the scale to suit specific interior dimensions. The material definitions are applied to standard geometry, allowing for simple texture mapping adjustments or colour variations. Lighting setups should account for the dark wood and matte black finishes to ensure realistic light absorption and highlight definition on the curved chair components.

Ideal for residential dining rooms or casual hospitality settings like cafes and restaurants, this set provides a cohesive look for modern interiors. It pairs effectively with industrial-style lighting or minimalist decor, grounding the space with natural wood tones. Professionals searching for dining furniture will find this asset useful for staging open-plan kitchen-dining areas or boutique hotel breakfast nooks where a balance of organic texture and clean, dark lines is required to create a welcoming, functional atmosphere.
