About this asset

This classic living room set for 3ds Max features a button-tufted brown leather L-shaped sofa and two purple velvet armchairs. This traditional furniture arrangement centers around a large L-shaped Chesterfield-style sofa upholstered in dark brown leather, characterised by its signature deep button tufting and rolled arms. The set includes two matching armchairs finished in deep purple velvet, accented with a single bright blue decorative cushion on one piece. A dark wood coffee table with a glass top serves as the central focal point. The composition is complemented by a wall-mounted shelf, a framed architectural print, and a brass-toned pendant light, providing a cohesive, classically inspired aesthetic for formal interior spaces.

The download is a 89.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is organised with distinct material IDs for easy texture adjustment. Users should import the assets as a group to maintain the intended spatial relationship between the seating and the coffee table. The upholstery fabrics are UV-mapped for realistic leather and velvet response under varied lighting conditions. For optimal performance, check the pivot points of individual chairs and the sofa before merging them into a larger interior scene, ensuring they align correctly with floor geometry.

Ideal for high-end residential projects, hotel lounges, or formal reception areas, this set anchors a traditional interior design scheme. It pairs effectively with dark timber flooring, wainscoting, and classic wall mouldings. Search for this assembly when specifying furniture for luxury living rooms, executive suites, or boutique hospitality lobby designs. The combination of leather and velvet textures adds depth to both contemporary and period-inspired spaces, offering a balanced, sophisticated seating arrangement for professional architectural visualisation workflows.
