About this asset

This comprehensive Kids Room Decor and Storage Furniture Set for SketchUp features a playful collection of timber and fabric items. This curated collection includes a house-shaped storage unit, a wall-mounted book ledge, a tiered open bookshelf, and a low modular cubby organiser with fabric storage boxes. The aesthetic is light and airy, utilising natural timber tones paired with white-painted finishes and soft, neutral textiles. Decorative elements such as framed wall art, a plush dinosaur toy, and various wooden accessories complete the scene. Each piece is proportioned for child-accessible storage, focusing on clean lines and functional organisation suitable for a modern nursery or playroom environment.

The download is a 141 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 12 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as individual components, allowing for easy placement and rearrangement within your project. Users should utilise the native layering system to manage visibility, especially when populating a large nursery or playroom scene. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily edited or replaced to match specific interior design palettes. When inserting into a larger plan, ensure the models are placed on a level surface to maintain correct spatial proportions.

Ideal for residential interior design projects, this set is perfectly suited for nurseries, kids' bedrooms, and dedicated play areas. Professionals can use these assets to quickly furnish conceptual visualisations, providing a realistic and inviting atmosphere for clients. The neutral colour scheme pairs well with various interior styles, from minimalist to contemporary. Search for these items when looking to add character to family-oriented spaces, focusing on functional storage solutions that double as decorative elements in a child's room.
