Kids Library Playful Shelving Wall Storage Set

This SketchUp set contains seven playful kids library shelving units featuring organic shapes, pastel colour palettes, and varied storage. This collection of seven distinct wall-mounted storage units is designed specifically for educational or recreational children's environments. The designs incorporate whimsical, organic forms including circular cutouts, amoeba-like voids, and arched niches. Materials primarily consist of light-toned timber framing with contrasting painted backings in soft greens and blues. The shelving configurations vary from traditional grid layouts to irregular, free-form compartments that accommodate books, decorative objects, and integrated seating nooks. Each unit is detailed with precise geometry, providing a cohesive aesthetic for creating engaging, interactive wall surfaces within a nursery, playroom, or primary school library setting.

The download is a 120 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 7 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, these models are organised as individual components, allowing for easy placement and alignment against vertical planes. Users can scale the units to fit specific wall dimensions or adjust the material mapping on the timber surfaces to match project-specific finishes. The modular nature of the set enables designers to mix and match different shelving styles to create custom feature walls. Proper layer management is recommended to toggle visibility of individual units during the modelling process, ensuring efficient viewport performance while developing complex interior layouts.
