Japanese Zen Landscape Scene Set with Water Features

This Japanese Zen landscape scene set for 3ds Max features three modular garden islands with integrated water features and rock formations. This collection comprises three distinct landscape modules, each designed with traditional Japanese aesthetic principles. The set includes two circular islands and one rectangular base, all framed in a weathered concrete-style border. Each module incorporates detailed rockeries, moss-covered terrain, and cascading waterfalls flowing into tranquil blue ponds. The vegetation is varied, featuring bonsai-style pines, bamboo stalks, and flowering shrubs. The composition balances negative space with dense foliage, creating a serene environment suitable for architectural visualisation. Every element is carefully scaled to represent a realistic, miniature-scale garden installation suitable for interior or exterior courtyard perspectives.

The download is a 1015 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

Users can import these scenes directly into 3ds Max to populate architectural courtyards or atrium designs. The models are organised by logical grouping, allowing for easy placement within larger master-plan projects. Material assignments are pre-configured for standard rendering workflows, requiring only minor adjustments to texture paths upon import. Due to the high density of foliage and water elements, it is recommended to utilize proxy objects or instances to maintain viewport performance when integrating these modules into complex, large-scale site models.
