Contemporary Multicolour Custom Wall Storage Unit with Integrated TV Niche

This contemporary SketchUp model features a custom multicolour built-in storage unit with an integrated TV niche and arch details. This large-scale built-in storage solution is designed for a vibrant children's room, featuring a geometric composition of closed wardrobe sections and an open central display area. The unit is finished in a palette of off-white, bold blue, and saturated orange. It incorporates an arched central shelving unit equipped with a recessed television mount, flanked by full-height doors with playful, rounded cut-out detailing. The design balances functional enclosed storage with open display shelving suitable for toys and decorative items, maintaining a clean, modern aesthetic through flush-panel construction and integrated hardware.

The download is a 130 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is structured as a series of modular components, allowing for easy adjustment of the overall width to fit varying wall dimensions. Users should manage the high-detail geometry using tags to toggle the visibility of decorative accessories independently from the main cabinetry structure. Applying custom materials to the primary faces is straightforward, as the model uses clean, non-overlapping UV mapping for the flat panel surfaces, ensuring efficient rendering workflows.

Ideal for residential children's bedrooms, playrooms, or creative studio spaces, this unit provides a comprehensive storage and media solution in one assembly. It pairs effectively with minimalist bedroom furniture to ground the vibrant colour scheme. Professionals searching for bespoke children's interiors, space-saving storage layouts, or custom millwork designs will find this asset versatile for concept development and final visualisation. It serves as an excellent focal point for interior design projects requiring a playful yet organized aesthetic for younger occupants.
