About this asset

This 3ds Max botanical arrangement features dried Banksia pods and fern fronds in a clear glass vase for interior styling. This decorative botanical set features a collection of dried, textured Banksia flower heads paired with delicate, feathery brown fern fronds. The arrangement is presented in a minimalist, spherical clear glass vase, which reveals the stems submerged at the base. The composition relies on the contrast between the rigid, tactile structure of the Banksia pods and the fine, airy texture of the foliage. The palette is dominated by rich, earthy brown and natural wood tones, providing a grounded, organic aesthetic that works well in contemporary or wabi-sabi inspired interior design schemes.

The download is a 47.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single merged object or a group, allowing for easy placement on surfaces like consoles, coffee tables, or shelving units. Users should ensure the pivot point is at the base of the glass vase for accurate positioning. Adjusting the material properties of the glass, such as refraction and transparency, will help integrate the model into a scene with specific lighting conditions and environmental reflections, ensuring a realistic look for close-up interior renders.

This piece is ideal for adding organic detail to residential living areas, hotel lobbies, or high-end retail displays. It pairs effectively with minimalist furniture, stone surfaces, or raw timber textures to enhance a natural, curated atmosphere. Designers searching for dried floral decor, botanical accents, or realistic plant assets for staging will find this useful for final render compositions. It works particularly well in interior shots requiring a touch of warmth and texture, suitable for both contemporary and rustic design projects.
