About this asset

This Japandi-style double bed set for SketchUp features a natural wood frame with intricate rattan headboard detailing and two matching nightstands. The assembly comprises a low-profile double bed and a pair of matching two-drawer nightstands, all finished in a warm, light natural wood tone. The bed headboard is divided into two sections, each featuring woven rattan cane webbing framed by smooth timber. The nightstands echo this aesthetic with rattan-fronted drawers and slender tapered legs. Complementary decor elements, such as a low circular stool and a textured rug, are included to complete the composition. The overall design prioritises clean lines and organic textures, characteristic of a contemporary Japandi interior scheme.

The download is a 89.7 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 3 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, this model is organised into logical groups and components, allowing for easy placement and individual manipulation of the bed and nightstands. Users should check the component axes upon insertion to ensure correct alignment with the floor plane. The textures are mapped to standard geometry; applying high-resolution material overrides or adjusting the bump mapping on the rattan surfaces will enhance the realism of the woven detail in final renders.

This set is suited for residential bedroom designs, boutique hotel suites, and high-end hospitality projects where a serene, nature-inspired atmosphere is required. It pairs well with neutral colour palettes, linen bedding, and soft ambient lighting. Professionals searching for Japandi bedroom furniture, natural timber bed frames, or rattan-accented storage will find this asset useful for both schematic design and final visualisation stages. It provides a cohesive look for master suites or guest rooms requiring a balanced, minimalist aesthetic.
