About this asset

This industrial wall-mounted security camera features a weathered silver metal housing, providing a realistic asset for surveillance scenes. The unit consists of a rectangular, protective metal housing with a prominent sun shield and a clear glass front panel protecting the internal lens mechanism. It is supported by a robust, articulated mounting arm designed for direct wall attachment. The finish exhibits subtle signs of wear, suggesting a functional, long-term installation. The design includes visible screw fixings on the faceplate and a distinct, utilitarian aesthetic typical of external site monitoring equipment. Proportions are elongated to accommodate the internal camera assembly, with the mounting bracket allowing for adjustable positioning to ensure optimal coverage of the intended surveillance area.

The download is a 41.8 MB compressed archive with the model in BLEND, FBX and GLTF format.

When integrating this model into a project, users should place the mounting plate flush against the wall surface. The asset is designed for use in various 3D environments where site security is a requirement. Adjust the pivot points on the mounting arm to orient the camera towards the desired field of view. Apply appropriate environmental lighting to ensure the metallic textures react naturally to the scene's light sources, enhancing the realism of the weathered finish within the final render.

This asset is suitable for exterior building facade detailing, industrial facility visualisations, or urban environment projects. It serves as an essential component for architectural renderings requiring high levels of site realism, particularly in security-conscious commercial or infrastructure developments. Professionals might search for this item when detailing loading docks, perimeter walls, or public entrance points where visible surveillance equipment is standard. It pairs effectively with other industrial site elements like signage, bollards, and exterior lighting fixtures to complete a comprehensive site plan.
