About this asset

This industrial 3ds Max wall planter features a slim black metal grid trellis paired with a trough of dense cascading green foliage. The assembly comprises a rectangular black powder-coated metal grid frame designed for vertical mounting. A narrow, integrated planter trough runs along the lower section, housing a collection of realistic trailing ivy-style plants that spill naturally over the bottom edge. The design offers a clean, minimalist silhouette, balancing the rigid geometry of the steel wire grid against the organic, soft textures of the greenery. This model is a singular unit, suitable for adding life and architectural interest to blank interior walls in various commercial or high-end residential settings.

The download is a 13.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is typically handled as a single editable mesh or group. Users should ensure the pivot point is positioned at the rear of the planter for easy snapping against wall surfaces. Foliage density and texture maps can be managed via the material editor, allowing for adjustments to the leaf colour or transparency settings. When populating a scene, use instances to create variations in vertical garden configurations while keeping memory usage efficient for complex architectural visualisations.

This wall planter is ideal for adding greenery to urban-style interiors, such as loft apartments, modern cafes, and boutique retail spaces. It works effectively as a feature element in a living room, a decorative divider in an office, or as a softening touch in a minimalist hospitality lobby. Professionals might search for this when looking to integrate vertical gardening, biophilic design elements, or industrial-inspired wall decor into their 3D scenes. Pair it with concrete textures, exposed brick, or warm timber finishes for contrast.
