About this asset

This SketchUp model presents a traditional wooden pavilion with an intricate tiled roof, featuring a classic hexagonal footprint. The pavilion is constructed from wood throughout, showcasing a hexagonal base with integrated bench seating and low solid panels. Its design is defined by a multi-tiered roof system with flared eaves and traditional ceramic-style tiling. Delicate lattice work spans the upper section between the supporting pillars, providing an airy, rhythmic aesthetic. A central finial crowns the structure, adding height and elegance to the overall form. The proportions are balanced, reflecting historical vernacular styles, with clear attention given to the joinery details visible in the roof structure and support columns.

When working in SketchUp, this model is best utilised as a component. Ensure the geometry is placed on a dedicated layer for easy management within larger site plans. Users should check the face normals upon insertion to ensure correct lighting and rendering. Materials are applied as standard textures, making them simple to replace or adjust using the material editor to match specific project colour palettes. The model is lightweight, allowing for smooth navigation even when integrated into complex landscape scenes.
