Industrial Black Metal and Wood Media Storage Scene

This industrial-style 3ds Max media storage scene features a modular arrangement of black metal and timber cabinets for living spaces. This comprehensive storage arrangement comprises a central low-profile media unit flanked by two taller shelving cabinets. The design pairs warm-toned timber surfaces with a rigid, black-finished metal framework, incorporating wire mesh panels for the lower cabinet doors. The aesthetic is strictly industrial, defined by the clean lines of the square-section metal frame and the utilitarian mesh detailing. The set includes an integrated television screen and a variety of decorative accessories, such as sculptural elements, books, and potted greenery, which sit on the open upper shelves and the central low-level surface.

The download is a 27 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) scene, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this scene is organised as a cohesive assembly, allowing for easy placement within a room model. Users can manipulate the individual cabinets as separate objects or as a single unit depending on the project requirements. The materials are mapped to the geometry, providing a realistic contrast between the timber grain and the powder-coated metal finish. The file is ready for insertion into interior scenes, where lighting can be adjusted to highlight the metallic textures and the depth of the wire mesh.

This media wall is well-suited for contemporary residential living rooms, studio apartments, or open-plan lofts where a cohesive storage solution is required. It pairs effectively with industrial-inspired furniture and neutral interior palettes. Designers often search for this type of modular storage when specifying pieces for urban residential projects or modern home cinema areas. The versatile composition allows it to function as a focal point in a lounge, providing both display space for decor and practical storage for media equipment and books.
