Indochine Black Wood Rattan Sideboard with Brass Floral Hardware

This Indochine-style 3ds Max sideboard features a black wood frame, rattan door panels, and decorative brass floral hardware. Defined by a fusion of colonial and traditional aesthetics, this sideboard showcases a dark-stained timber frame with distinct curved side profiles. Each of the four door panels is inset with woven natural rattan mesh, providing texture and visual lightness. The central focal point is a pair of ornate, oversized brass handles fashioned into a stylised floral bloom, which contrast sharply against the dark finish. The unit is elevated on carved wooden feet, maintaining a formal, balanced silhouette. Its proportions are elongated and low, making it suitable for a variety of interior applications.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised by logical naming conventions, facilitating easy selection and material assignment. Users should ensure the pivot point is set to the base for precise floor-level placement. The rattan texture is mapped to take advantage of high-resolution tiling, while the brass elements are separated into individual objects for custom shader application. When integrating into a scene, apply a subtle bump map to the floral hardware to enhance the depth of the metal casting during final rendering passes.
