About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max cabinet features a walnut-brown frame and cream doors, complete with an open central display niche. This tall storage cabinet is defined by a clean, geometric silhouette, featuring a rich walnut-brown timber frame that contrasts with smooth cream-finished doors. The unit is divided into upper and lower closed storage sections, separated by a horizontal open niche designed for decorative objects. A secondary open shelf is integrated at the base of the unit. The doors are handleless, maintaining a minimalist aesthetic. The internal structure is built for vertical storage, while the central niche provides a focal point for styling, as demonstrated by the included decorative accessories and books.

The download is an 11.2 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised by logical naming conventions and object groups, allowing for easy selection of individual components. The material library is set up for standard render engines, with textures mapped to the timber grain and solid-colour door panels. Users can adjust the pivot points for the doors if animation is required. Ensure the scale is set to real-world units before merging into your scene to maintain correct proportions relative to other furniture and architectural elements within the interior.

This storage unit is ideal for residential interiors, particularly in entrance halls, living rooms, or dining areas where both concealed storage and display space are needed. It pairs effectively with modern minimalist furniture and neutral palettes. Professionals might search for this as a hallway storage unit, a feature display cabinet, or a tall contemporary sideboard. It is well-suited for high-end residential visualisations, providing a functional yet decorative element that adds depth and organised visual interest to a room's composition.
