Grey Marble and Wood Veneer Display Cabinet

This contemporary 3ds Max display cabinet features grey marble-effect doors, fluted wood detailing, and integrated open shelving. This large-scale display cabinet combines solid block construction with refined surface textures. The main body is clad in a grey marble-pattern finish, contrasted by a vertical-fluted dark wood section on the left side, which includes an integrated spotlight for accent lighting. The interior structure features horizontal open shelving finished in a warm timber veneer, providing a break in the solid door profile. The unit is designed as a cohesive wall-mounted installation, balancing concealed storage with open display zones suitable for decorative objects. Its clean lines and mixed material palette offer a balanced, modern aesthetic.

The download is a 14.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When using this model in 3ds Max, manage the geometry through layer separation for the cabinet frame, doors, and internal shelving. Apply high-resolution textures to the marble and wood surfaces using a standard material editor, ensuring proper UV mapping for the fluted details. The integrated light source can be adjusted using a photometric or area light to highlight the open display section. Scale the unit to your specific wall dimensions while maintaining the aspect ratio of the modular components to ensure realistic proportions.
