About this asset

This modern Grey Fabric Vertical Blind for SketchUp provides a clean, functional window treatment with adjustable slats. This vertical blind system features a series of uniform, grey fabric louvres suspended from a top-mounted track. The design is minimalist and utilitarian, focusing on light control and privacy. The slats hang vertically, weighted at the bottom to maintain a straight, disciplined profile across the window opening. The track mechanism is integrated into a slim, neutral-coloured housing that blends with the ceiling or wall mounting surface. The fabric texture is smooth and matte, providing a subtle diffusion of light when the blinds are closed, suitable for both professional and residential interiors.

The download is a 64.5 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this component is best managed by placing the blind assembly on a dedicated layer for window treatments. Users can scale the width and height to fit specific window openings using the scale tool, though care should be taken to maintain the aspect ratio of the individual louvres. The material can be adjusted or replaced to match specific project colour palettes. For rendering, ensure the normals are correctly oriented to allow for accurate light transmission through the fabric texture.

These blinds are ideal for contemporary office environments, meeting rooms, and home offices where light regulation is essential. They pair effectively with minimalist interior schemes, providing a crisp, architectural finish to glazed partitions or large window apertures. Professionals searching for window coverings, office blinds, or functional solar shading will find this asset useful for early-stage conceptual modelling and final high-fidelity visualisations. The neutral grey tone integrates seamlessly into diverse design palettes, from corporate spaces to modern residential living areas.
