About this asset

This 3ds Max model features a set of four modern grey fabric curtains with uniform vertical pleats, suitable for interior visualisations. This set consists of four distinct curtain panels, each finished in a neutral grey fabric. The design features consistent, tight vertical pleating that runs from the top header to the hem, creating an elegant, structured drape. The panels vary in width, offering versatility for different window configurations. The fabric texture appears soft and matte, providing a realistic light-diffusing quality when placed in a scene. These curtains are modelled to hang naturally, with subtle folds at the base, ensuring they integrate seamlessly into a variety of contemporary or minimalist interior design schemes.

The download is an 18 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 4 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these curtains are provided as individual assets that can be easily scaled or adjusted to fit specific window frames. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned at the top header for easy placement on curtain rods or tracks. The material shaders can be adjusted to control transparency or light transmission, allowing for both blackout or sheer effects depending on the project requirements. Proper UV mapping is maintained across the pleats to ensure consistent texture distribution.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or hotel suites where a clean, modern aesthetic is required. They pair well with floor-to-ceiling glazing or standard window frames in both contemporary and transitional interiors. Professionals searching for window treatments, drapery, or soft furnishings will find these assets useful for adding realism to architectural renderings. They are particularly effective for establishing a sense of scale and comfort in empty room scenes during the final stages of a project.
