About this asset

Contemporary grey fabric curtains with white sheers and black blinds, provided as a 3ds Max model for interior window dressing. This set includes a pair of floor-length opaque grey curtains, a corresponding pair of translucent white sheer curtains, and a compact black Venetian blind unit. The curtains feature a classic pinch-pleat heading, creating uniform vertical folds that drape naturally toward the floor. The sheers offer a lightweight, airy aesthetic, while the blinds provide a rigid contrast with horizontal slats. All elements are structured to be placed independently, allowing for versatile layering across various window configurations. The geometry captures realistic fabric tension and soft folds, suitable for close-up interior visualisations.

The download is an 11 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 3 separate objects. Open it in 3ds Max; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, these assets are typically managed as separate objects within a layer hierarchy, allowing for individual control over material IDs and opacity maps. Users can easily scale the width of the curtains to fit specific window openings while maintaining the integrity of the pleats. The blinds are provided as a single unit, which can be adjusted vertically to simulate different levels of light filtration. Applying high-resolution fabric textures ensures the folds render with realistic depth and shadow.

These window treatments are essential for residential bedroom, living room, and home office projects where light control and privacy are required. The neutral grey and white palette complements modern and minimalist interior schemes, pairing well with contemporary furniture. Professionals often use these assets to add realism to architectural renderings, providing a soft, lived-in feel to otherwise sterile spaces.
