About this asset

This contemporary fabric curtain set for 3ds Max features a double-layered design with sheer white panels and solid grey side drapes. This window treatment assembly features a sophisticated two-part configuration designed to provide both privacy and light diffusion. The primary layer consists of a crisp, white sheer fabric with uniform vertical pleating that spans the full width of the assembly. Flanking the sheer are two substantial, opaque grey curtains, also featuring deep, structured pleats at the header. The contrast between the translucent white and the solid grey creates a refined aesthetic suitable for high-end interiors. The geometry is clean and realistic, capturing the natural drape and folds of heavy-weight and lightweight textile materials.

The download is a 13.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

To integrate this asset into a 3ds Max scene, import the model and align the header geometry with your window frame or ceiling track. The curtains are provided as a single unit, but users can detach the layers if individual adjustment is required for specific camera angles. Apply a high-quality fabric texture map to the UV-mapped geometry to enhance realism, and use a light-translucency setting on the white layer to ensure correct light filtration during rendering.
