Contemporary Beige Marble Reception Desk with Gold Accent

This contemporary SketchUp model features a long beige marble reception desk with a gold base and a decorative gold sphere sculpture. This linear reception desk features a clean, minimalist silhouette defined by its heavy use of beige marble cladding. The design incorporates a tiered structure, with a lower offset platform on one side that supports a large, hollow gold ring sculpture. A solid gold-toned plinth runs along the base, providing a sharp contrast to the textured stone surfaces. The front facade is sleek and unadorned, suitable for corporate or high-end hospitality environments. The assembly includes the primary desk body and the decorative element, all detailed with precise geometric edges and a polished stone finish.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component or group, allowing for easy placement within a lobby or office floor plan. Users can apply custom materials to the marble surfaces if a different stone finish is required for a specific scheme. The gold elements are mapped with metallic material properties, which should be adjusted in your render engine to achieve the desired level of reflection and sheen. Use the move tool to snap the desk to your wall partitions or floor geometry.

Ideal for professional reception areas, hotel lobbies, and high-end retail showrooms, this desk anchors a space with its sophisticated material palette. It pairs effectively with modern lounge seating and neutral wall treatments. Architects and interior designers often search for this type of statement piece when planning commercial interiors that require a blend of luxury and functionality. It is particularly useful for visualizing front-of-house zones where the first impression is critical, working well in both compact entries and expansive open-plan corporate building foyers.
