About this asset

This SketchUp model features a contemporary set of floor-length fabric curtains, showcasing a textured grey panel layered over charcoal. This curtain set consists of two distinct panel styles designed to provide depth and contrast in interior visualisations. The primary outer panels are rendered in a deep charcoal fabric with a subtle vertical drape, while the central accent panel features a lighter grey textile with a fine, repetitive dash pattern. Both elements are modelled with natural folds and realistic gathering at the header, suggesting a standard pinch-pleat or rod-pocket installation. The proportions are balanced to allow for layering, making them suitable for full-height glazing or large window openings in residential or commercial settings.

The download is a 45.8 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 2 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is best utilised by importing the component directly into your scene and scaling the vertical axis to match your specific wall height. The geometry is organised to allow for easy manipulation of the fabric panels, enabling users to adjust the layering or spacing along the curtain track. Ensure the material mapping is preserved when scaling to maintain the integrity of the dash pattern on the grey panels, and consider using a soft area light to highlight the fabric folds.

These curtains are ideal for residential living rooms, master bedrooms, and high-end hotel suites where a layered window treatment is required to add warmth and texture. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary furniture schemes, providing a neutral backdrop that complements both light and dark interiors. Professionals searching for drapery assets will find these effective for quickly populating architectural scenes, adding realism to window details in both early-stage design concepts and final presentation renderings for clients.
