About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max model features a set of floor-length pleated curtains with natural, soft folds suitable for interior visualisations. These floor-length curtains feature a classic pleated header, creating consistent, vertical folds that drape naturally to the floor. The set includes two variations of width, allowing for flexible application across different window sizes or door openings. The geometry captures the weight and movement of fabric, with subtle variations in the pleats that provide a realistic look when rendered. Neutral in tone and clean in form, these curtains are designed to integrate seamlessly into a wide variety of architectural styles, providing essential depth and soft texture to any interior environment.

The download is a 31.1 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

When working in 3ds Max, these curtains are best managed by assigning a high-quality fabric material to the mesh to ensure light interaction looks authentic. Users should scale the objects to match the specific floor-to-ceiling height of their project, ensuring the bottom hem sits correctly. The curtains can be easily duplicated or mirrored to cover larger spans, and should be placed on a dedicated layer to allow for quick toggling during the final render setup or when adjusting interior lighting.

These curtains are ideal for residential and hospitality projects, particularly in bedrooms, living areas, or hotel suites where a sense of comfort and privacy is required. They pair well with minimalist or contemporary interiors, softening the sharp lines of window frames and glazing. Professionals often search for these when populating scenes that require a lived-in feel, using them to frame views or provide soft background elements. They are a staple for architectural visualisers working on realistic interior photography-style renders.
