Dark Wood Wall-Mounted Media Storage Unit

This contemporary dark wood media storage unit for 3ds Max features integrated display shelving and a central upholstered panel. Designed as a comprehensive media wall, this unit combines deep-toned timber cabinetry with open display sections. The structure includes lower closed storage cabinets with simple panelled doors and upper vertical storage towers. A central recessed section features a light-coloured fabric-upholstered back panel, designed to frame artwork or a television screen. Integrated internal lighting illuminates the glass-shelved display niches, providing a warm contrast to the dark wood finish. The proportions are balanced, offering a mix of concealed storage and decorative surface area, suitable for high-end residential interiors or sophisticated hotel suites.

The download is a 41.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this asset is best managed by assigning the cabinet and shelving components to distinct layers for easier viewport control. Users should verify that the texture mapping on the wood grain remains consistent across the panelled surfaces. The lighting elements within the display niches can be adjusted by modifying the intensity of the included photometric lights or emission maps. Ensure the unit is correctly scaled to the room dimensions before merging into the main scene file to maintain proper proportions.
