About this asset

This contemporary 2-seater sofa is a SketchUp model featuring a vibrant yellow fabric upholstery set against a warm timber base. Defined by its clean, mid-century inspired silhouette, this 2-seater sofa features a structured frame with tapered legs in a rich, dark-toned timber. The seating area is wrapped in a textured yellow fabric, creating a sharp contrast between the soft, cushioned upholstery and the solid wooden foundation. Its design includes integrated side panels that wrap around the backrest, providing a defined, enclosed profile. The seat cushions are flush with the frame, maintaining a streamlined aesthetic suitable for modern interior settings that require both comfort and a sophisticated, tailored appearance.

The download is an 8.3 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

In SketchUp, this model is managed as a single component, allowing for efficient placement within your scene. The geometry is clean, making it straightforward to apply or adjust material textures for custom render outputs. Users should ensure the model is placed on a dedicated layer to maintain scene organisation. When scaling, apply uniform transformations to preserve the proportions of the wooden legs and the integrated upholstery frame, ensuring the asset remains accurate to its intended scale within the architectural model.

Ideal for residential living rooms, boutique hotel lobbies, or modern office breakout areas, this sofa serves as a versatile focal point. It pairs well with minimalist coffee tables, low-profile side units, and neutral area rugs. Designers searching for yellow accent seating or tailored 2-seater furniture for contemporary interiors will find this piece highly applicable. It functions effectively in both conceptual design stages and final visualisations where a pop of colour is required to balance more subdued, monochromatic palettes.
