Contemporary Wicker and Metal Hanging Swing Chair Set

This SketchUp set features four contemporary hanging and floor-standing swing chairs with diverse wicker textures and metal frames. This collection comprises four distinct swing chair designs, ranging from egg-shaped enclosures to open-weave basket styles. Each model incorporates a robust metal frame, either as a standalone floor-standing unit with a circular base or designed for ceiling suspension via a heavy-duty chain. The seating elements are constructed from woven wicker or synthetic rattan, providing a tactile, organic aesthetic. Soft fabric cushions, ranging from neutral tones to vibrant accents, are included within each shell. The variety of forms offers both enclosed, private seating options and more ventilated, airy designs suitable for diverse interior or exterior lounge settings.

The download is a 12.4 MB compressed archive containing the native SketchUp (.skp) model holding 4 separate objects. It opens directly in SketchUp; for 3ds Max, Blender or Cinema 4D, import it through a SketchUp importer or convert it first.

Within SketchUp, these models are organised into logical groups, allowing for easy selection and placement. Users can adjust the orientation of the hanging chairs by rotating them around the suspension point or re-scaling the floor-standing bases to fit specific floor plans. Materials are applied as standard textures, which can be easily edited or swapped to match project-specific colour palettes. Ensure that the suspension chains are correctly aligned with ceiling structural elements when importing into a larger scene to maintain visual accuracy and realism.
