Contemporary Black Wood and Marble Nesting Coffee Table Set

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table set features a low-profile square wood table paired with a circular marble-topped nesting unit. This nesting coffee table set comprises two distinct pieces designed for layered arrangement. The primary table is a low, square block finished in a textured black wood grain, providing a solid, grounded base. Complementing this is a secondary, circular table featuring a dark grey marble top with subtle veining, supported by a slender, minimalist black metal frame. The set includes a curated arrangement of decorative accessories, such as a glass vase with dried botanicals, a small dish, and reading materials, which add a lived-in aesthetic to the composition.

The download is a 21.7 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model holding 2 separate objects, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this set is typically managed as a single grouped object or separate entities for flexible placement. Users should ensure the pivot points are correctly aligned to the floor plane for easy positioning. The materials are pre-configured, allowing for quick adjustments to the marble reflection or wood grain scale within the material editor. Proper use of layers is recommended to toggle the decorative accessories on or off depending on the required level of detail for the specific interior visualization project.

These nesting tables suit modern living rooms, open-plan apartments, and luxury hotel lounge areas. They work well as a focal point in front of modular sofas, offering versatile surface area for magazines, beverages, and decorative accents. Designers often search for this type of furniture when looking for space-saving solutions that maintain a high-end, sophisticated aesthetic. The contrasting textures of the dark wood and marble make them ideal for monochromatic or moody interior schemes, pairing effectively with minimalist rugs and contemporary seating arrangements.
