About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max lounge chair features a distinctive tufted, rounded backrest upholstered in beige fabric with a black accent cushion. Defined by its wide, rounded backrest, this lounge chair presents a sophisticated profile with deep button tufting across the interior upholstery. The seat is circular and upholstered in a matching light beige fabric, providing a clean contrast to the dark-finished wooden frame. Tapered legs support the structure, connected by a subtle curved stretcher for stability. A rectangular black decorative cushion, detailed with a fine dotted pattern, is positioned against the backrest. The overall form is compact yet sculptural, balancing soft, rounded contours with a structured, minimalist base suitable for various interior schemes.

The download is a 4.5 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

For integration into 3ds Max workflows, this model is provided as a standalone asset. Users should verify the pivot point is set at the base of the legs for easy placement on floor planes. Apply standard material assignments to the fabric and wood components to ensure proper light interaction during rendering. The model is scaled for real-world proportions, allowing for straightforward insertion into larger room scenes without extensive adjustment to the geometry or transform values.

Ideal for residential living rooms, bedrooms, or boutique hotel lobbies, this lounge chair serves as an effective accent piece. It pairs well with minimalist side tables or as part of a curated seating group in a contemporary lounge area.
