About this asset

This contemporary 3ds Max coffee table features a white marble top and a natural wood base with an integrated elevated side table. This contemporary coffee table set features a low-profile, square base finished in a light natural wood veneer with soft, rounded corners. The primary surface is topped with a white marble slab, showcasing intricate grey veining. A secondary, smaller square side table is cantilevered off the main unit, providing a tiered surface effect. The set includes a decorative tray with small sculptural objects and a tea set, adding a refined, curated touch. Its clean lines and mixed material palette create a sophisticated, balanced aesthetic suitable for high-end residential interiors and upscale lounge settings.

The download is a 2.9 MB compressed archive containing the native 3ds Max (.max) model, set up with Corona materials. Open it in 3ds Max with Corona installed; for other programs, export to FBX or OBJ from 3ds Max first.

In 3ds Max, this model is organised into logical groups for easy placement and material adjustments. Users can apply custom marble textures to the top surface or modify the wood veneer mapping to suit specific project schemes. The objects are scaled for standard interior dimensions, ensuring they sit correctly within a scene. Lighting should be adjusted to highlight the reflective quality of the marble top, typically using an HDRI environment map to capture realistic highlights on the polished stone and metallic tray components.

This piece works well as a focal point in a modern living room or a luxury hotel lobby. It pairs effectively with low-slung modular sofas or minimalist lounge chairs. Designers often search for this type of furniture when specifying high-end residential projects, boutique hotel lounge areas, or executive reception spaces. The tiered design is particularly useful for adding functional depth to an open-plan seating arrangement, providing extra surface area for books, decor, or beverages without overwhelming the floor space.
